Friday, January 27, 2017 & Saturday, January 28, 2017

The University of Alberta Pandas Soccer Program is pleased to host its Annual Winter Identification Camp for the competitive female soccer player in Grades 9 and beyond interested in playing University Soccer. The objective of the camp is to ID potential Panda Soccer Players while equally growing the understanding of the rigours of being a varsity student-athlete in the USports landscape (formerly the CIS click here to see more about the new name branding). Players will live and learn the cornerstones of excellence of the University of Alberta and the Pandas Soccer Program during the on and off-field sessions. Unique to this ID Camp experience is the opportunity to receive aCamp Feedback Report that provides qualitative and quantitative feedback relative to current post-secondary “Gold Level Standards".

The ID Camp has received the Alberta Soccer Association's Three Star Endorsement…recognizing the quality camps geared toward high level players.

The ID Camp is subject to suitable registration and safe weather conditions. Sessions will take place at various University of Alberta Facilities and, of note, with some play in our newest facility - Foote Field Dome(picture left).Players are requested to bring their regular indoor soccer training kitfor all sessions (including flat soled shoes for competition on theButterdomerubberized surface, soccer cleats for play in the Dome, and running shoes for the Athlete Testing Session). All players may opt to receive the ID Camp Report - this option will be available when you submit your application.

The camp will take a maximum of 40 registrations.

Application Process:

1. Complete the Prospective Student-Athlete Form to provide your soccer profile

2. Submit an Application for the Pandas Soccer ID Camp

3. All applications will be reviewed and participants will be selected based on their background in the sport, their potential to compete at thepost-secondarylevel and their commitment to attending all the sessions. Athletes able to attend all sessions will receive first priority for acceptance.

Once reviewed, players will receive an email regarding their camp status (2-3 business days after application submission). Accepted applicants will be emailed a link for online registration and a waiver form. Registration and payment is now available online or over the phone. The waiver form must be faxed or emailed toCustomer Service Centre(see contact information at the bottom of this webpage).

* Athletes looking to attend from out of town should indicate challenges if they can not attend all sessions via email to ID Camp Co-ordinator Courtney Wald ~ clwald@ualberta.ca.

Athlete Quantitative Testing - Learn more about your physical attributes

Friday, January 27, 2017 (1100 - 1300) @Foote Field Dome (11601 68 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T6G 2E1)~ Registration & Athlete Quantitative Testing

Each player will run through a battery of current University of Alberta Pandas Soccer Physical Tests. Registration will occur from 10:30 - 10:45. Please be dressed (running shoes and athletic wear)and ready to go at 10:50. Coaches will warm-up the athletes.

Players will be placed in teams and play games over the indicated timeslots above. Please ensure that you are dressed and ready to go 15-minutespriorto start time for warm-up.Coaches will warm-up the athletes.
