Elise Emmott, a graduate of the University of Alberta Education Faculty had notable presence as a player for the Pandas Soccer Program as well as the Canada West League and the CIS. Coach “Els”, Pandas Soccer Rookie of the Year (2008), earned a starting position in her first year of play and went on to achieve Canada West All-Star Status and selection to the 27th Summer Universiade (FISU) Games in Russia (2013). During her time with the Pandas, the team earned a Canada West League Title (2010), CWUAA Play-off Bronze (2010), and Silver (2011) and a CIS 5th place finish (2011).

Coach Els was readily noted for her superior ball mastery, creativity in the run of the play, and shooting prowess as a varsity soccer student-athlete. She was equally dedicated to the defensive side of the game with her commitment to team defense in the run of the play and in set pieces.

We are pleased to add Coach Els to the Junior Pandas Coaching staff as she brings great insight as to best practices in being a CIS leader.
