2017 - 18 Junior Pandas Fall / Winter Prospects Camp

The University of Alberta Junior Pandas Soccer Program is pleased to host the following Identification Sessions for the advanced female soccer player in Grades 10 to 12 & University Players as of September 2017 to profile themselves for consideration for the Fall / Winter Junior Pandas Soccer Program. The Prospects Camp is subject to suitable registration and safe weather conditions.Sessions will take place at various University of Alberta Sport Facilities.

Application is now open

* Cost: Free

* The Prospects Camp will take a maximum of 40 participants.

Application Process:

1.Complete theProspective Student-Athlete (PSA) Form to provide your soccer profile

*please note: not required if you have submitted a form in the past 12 months or have been a member of the Junior Pandas in last calendar year.

2.Submit an application for the Junior Pandas Prospects Camp

3. All applications will be reviewed and participants will be selected based on their background in the sport, their potential to compete at thepost-secondarylevel and their commitment to attending all the sessions. Athletes able to attend all sessions will receive first priority for acceptance.

Application acceptance will be confirmed beginning August 2, 2017 via email.Applications received after this date should anticipate an email response within 2-3 business days of submission of the PSA form & Junior Pandas Prospects Camp Application.

To finalize registration, players will be directed to acknowledge receipt of acceptance via email.

Detailed Information:

Junior Pandas Soccer - what is it all about?

The objective of this session is to provide information on the Junior Pandas Soccer Program so that players and parents alike can better understand the Junior Pandas Program as well as the Prospects Camp Process.

Athlete Quantitative Testing

Each player will run through a battery of current University of Alberta Pandas Soccer Physical Tests. Please be dressed and ready to go 15-minutes before session start time for warm-up (coach led).

* Kit: indoor training - Footwear:Flat soled shoes and / or running shoes Kit: Athletic Wear

Soccer Play:

Players will be placed in teams and play games over the indicated timeslots above.Please be dressed and ready to go 15-minutes before session start time.Coaches will warm-up the athletes.

* Kit: outdoor training - Footwear:Turf shoes or cleats,Kit: Soccer Training kit including shinguards
